within spyder -> preferences -> python interpreter

then switch from default to "use the following interpreter:" and specify
the path to a python interpreter of your choice

Michiel,

I changed the path to the interpreter I wanted to run (python 2.7 , 3, 3.6
) and the problem still happens. Any other suggestion?

Thank you,

Robert,
I think it is not the case, because I changed the spyder versions and the
problem still happens. Anyway, I'm using spyder 4.0.0b1 and python 3.6.6.
The problem happens when I install nvidia toolkit and cuda. maybe I should
copy some files to libOpenCL.so.1 folder?

Sorry for not answering you before. It seems the python3.6.6 can not find
OpenCL 2.1,, the spyder version is 3.2.6. It happens after installing
nvidia tookit and cuda. Maybe I should copy Opencl 2.1 to the
libOpenCL.so.1 folder?
